The 1U chassis has two power supply slots, optional two clock module slots, a CPU slot and four (three in case of a second reference clock) slots for additional input and output modules. If a problem occurs you can contact Meinberg directly by telephone or e-mail. Highly qualified engineers who develop and maintain Meinberg products will support you on any product for the lifetime of the system.

Meinberg offers a standard 3-year warranty for all Meinberg products. The standard warranty covers all hardware and software failures as long as the operating instructions have been followed by the user. It covers the operation and installation in the country to which Meinberg initially shipped the product, but the coverage can be extended to other countries or regions upon request.
During the warranty period Meinberg will ship replacement parts or will repair the product in one of our Meinberg repair centers free of charge. In the latter case, the customer must arrange and pay for the shipment of the faulty device to the nearest repair center. The maximum repair time is two business days after receiving the faulty product. Shipping charges for the repaired product back to the customer are included in the warranty.
After the warranty has expired customers can still send their repair needs to Meinberg. Meinberg will then estimate the repair costs and send a quote to the customer.
FREE LIFETIME UPDATES
After the warranty has expired customers can still ship faulty devices to Meinberg. In this case, Meinberg will evaluate and estimate the repair costs and prepare a quote. For non-warranty repairs, the shipping costs will have to be paid by the customer.
In addition to the technical support which is available during the standard business hours, Meinberg is offering the "Advanced Customer Support", an advanced technical support service that is there when you need it - 365 days a year and 24 hours a day.
For the duration of the term purchased you have the possibility to create up to three technical support tickets per device, which will be answered within a guaranteed reaction time of maximum 4 hours by one of Meinberg's highly trained technical experts.
The contract period of this service is 1 year. You can freely decide if you want to use our standard technical support service instead of spending one of your three customer support tickets for non-critical support issuses.

The Rapid Replacement Service offers customers the possibility to reserve replacement devices, in order to make a fast exchange process possible.
The replacement devices will have the identical configuration as the product in use and can either be stored at or near customers site, or at one of Meinberg‘s facilities. You may register multiple devices with identical hardware for one replacement device.
This service includes a maximum of two replacements within a contract period of two years. In the event of a hardware system failure the RRS-Service guarantees that a replacement device is shipped to you on the same day, if Meinberg receives your request on business days until 12pm local time (CET/CEST).

With the "Warranty Extension" service Meinberg is offering its customers the possibility to upgrade the standard Meinberg warranty period of 3 years to a maximum of 10 years (3 year standard +7 years extension). This includes all products manufactured at Meinberg factory.
